
Maureen is a flower essence practitioner who has spent over ten years working in this field. She was born in Scotland and moved to England in 1985. Since then she has worked for a range of public and third sector organisations, initially in services for people with learning disability, but more recently with Scope and the Royal College of Psychiatrists, as a manager in the field of service improvement. During this time, she has undertaken training in her free time including a two-year diploma in working with flower essences which she completed in 2001 (Crystal Herbs), and further training with the originator of the Australian Bush remedy system – Ian White.
Maureen’s areas of special interest include working with young children, people with mental health problems, and people with learning disabilities, including autism.
She also holds a diploma in aromatherapy massage and is a qualified yoga teacher.
