Debbie Taylor-Payne

Hypnotherapy is a safe and natural way to help with self change and can be used as a tool to treat a variety of health and personal problems. It works by helping you to relax into a very receptive state of mind, in this relaxed state the practitioner will talk to you about your problem, helping you to think differently about the situation and giving you strategies to improve certain conditions

What does Hypnotherapy treat?

Hypnotherapy can treat a range of problems. It can be of great help in giving up addictions such as smoking and in overcoming fears, phobias and panic attacks. It is of help in dealing with feelings of stress and anxiety and can be used to treat insomnia. There are techniques to help in pain management and treatment can often improve both concentration and memory.

Format/ Approach

You will generally need more than 1 session but some people respond in one session. During each 1hr session patients will seated in a relaxing position whilst the practitioner talks them through the process. The practitioner will help you to tap into your own reservoir of resources to over come your problem.

Medicine

Hypnotherapy is a 'talking' therapy and therefore there is no medicine involved. There are no known side-effects to this therapy.
