Nutritional Therapy analyses an individual’s diet and lifestyle in order to alleviate or prevent ailments such as digestive or hormonal disorders and to promote optimal health through all life stages. This helps to prevent chronic disease such as Cancer, Diabetes, Obesity and Heart Disease.
Recommendations may include guidance on natural detoxification, procedures to promote colon health, methods to support digestion and absorption, the avoidance of toxins or allergens and the appropriate use of supplementary nutrients (vitamins and minerals) including phytonutrients such as antioxidants.

Format/approach
Clients are asked to fill in a detailed diet and lifestyle questionnaire which includes a 3 day food diary, this is analysed by the therapist prior to the consultation. The first session usually takes an hour to an hour and a quarter where a full medical history will be taken in conjunction with the questionnaire. The therapist will then explain and discuss potential underlying reasons for the individual’s health condition and finally an agreed strategy and programme will be outlined so that the client can easily understand and follow.
Supplements and laboratory tests may be part of the strategy but this will be discussed in detailed as they carry an extra charge.
Clients would normally see the Therapist on a monthly basis and email support is available between sessions if required.
