Flower Essence Therapy

What is Flower Essence Therapy?

Made famous by 19th century Harley Street physician Dr Bach’s ‘Rescue Remedy’, the therapy is based upon the principle that negative states of being occur when we are out of balance.   Each essence contains the life force or energy imprint of a particular flower or tree.   These energies provide a positive balancing force, which in a natural gentle way help to release the energetic patterning of old thoughts, attitudes and emotional issues that no longer serve us.  This simple system of re-patterning effects change at a causal level offering the powerful opportunity to bring harmony and balance to body, emotions, mind, & spirit.  The consultation process draws out the states of being that requires to be balanced, and then the practitioner makes up a unique combination of essences.

Who is Flower Essences for?

Flower essences promote improvement in a wide range of emotional and physical problems and challenges, including stress, shock and trauma, relationships difficulties, grief, overwhelming frustration, sleeplessness, feelings of hopelessness, low self-esteem, and mental or physical exhaustion.

Format/approach

The first appointment is one and a half hours long and allows the practitioner to carry out an in-depth consultation.  The process is non-judgemental and supportive.  This is followed up within a fortnight by a half-hour consultation.  Thereafter, consultations last approximately 45-60 minutes, usually at intervals of one month.

Essences

All flower essence combinations are individually prescribed.  They are in liquid form and are taken orally, either dropped directly onto the tongue, or diluted in a glass of water.
